MOVE-ON-UP WILL SHOW THE FILM "MAAFA 21"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is Move On Up's press release:
ST. LOUIS, MO. (February. 15, 2011)
Move-On-Up.org, a conservative 527 African American organization based in St. Louis. Mo, will be holding in conjunction with other conservative African American organizations, a national showing of the black genocide documentary MAAFA 21 on Monday, February 28th, 2011 at 6pm at the Café Nubia, (5860 Delmar Blvd # 110 St Louis, MO 63112-2358) in the Delmar Loop. Also on that day, the National Black Pro-Life Coalition will be observing around the country a “National Day of Mourning for the Unborn” with press conferences scheduled at different venues.
The title of the documentary comes from the Swahili term "Maafa", which means "tragedy" or "disaster". "21" refers to the 'maafa' of the 21st century, which is abortion. Currently, abortion is the #1 killer of black people in America. In 2004, abortion killed 2.8 times as many black people than HIV/AIDS, gang violence, accidents, cancer, and heart disease, COMBINED. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood and an adherent to the racist philosophy of Eugenics, wrote that African Americans are "Human weeds, reckless breeders... human beings who never should have been born."
If you or your organization would like to be a part of this historic event by showing the documentary in your home, church, or other venue, please contact us at the phone number or email at the top of this release. We will have a list of venues on our website: www.Move-On-Up.org
“The documentary film, "Maafa 21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America" exposes the evil and ongoing ties between racism, eugenics, population control, forced sterilization and ultimately, abortion. We pray for a softening of the hardened hearts of the people who work, volunteer or provide services in the abortion mills. Making a killing is NOT a way to make a LIVING.” --Connie Eller, Missouri Blacks for Life www.MissouriBlacksForLife.org
"Regarding abortion, we in the black community have been hiding our heads in a pot of collards for too long!”That's a white thing", we say. "We don't kill our own!", is another. The sad fact is we do and as long as the spiritual, political, cultural and media gatekeepers, cut-off the information we need- abortion will continue. We are a resilient people, we're still here, but if this keeps up there will be a lot fewer of us!”-- Rev. Brian Walker, Program Director Pro-Life Action Ministries & Co-Founder of Everlasting Light Ministries (St. Paul, MN)
This front page might be long, but there's lots going on and
YOU CAN SAVE LIVES...YOU HAVE TO...
Proverb 24:11-12 (NASB): "Deliver those who are being taken away to death, And those who are staggering to slaughter. Oh, hold them back. If you say, "See, we did not know this," Does He not consider it Who weighs the hearts? And does He not know it Who keeps your soul? And will He not render to man according to his work?"
THANK YOU TO EVERY U.S. CONGRESSMAN & WOMAN WHO VOTED TO DE-FUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD!
We continue to pray for the elected officials who do not support the lives of the unborn. We pray that anyone who works at, volunteers at or donates to any abortion mill will quit and seek employment elsewhere. God can make a way for you, because He loves you and has never abandoned you.
THERE IS SO MUCH
G-O-O-D STUFF GOING ON IN THE PRO-LIFE ARENA
...to address all the b-a-d stuff going on in the abortion mills...
This list keeps getting longer, but that is OK -- keep those prolife prayers & events coming!
FIRST PRIORITY IS...YOU!
Time is running short on this earth and Jesus is soon to return. If you do not knowHim as your Lord, Savior, Redeemer and Friend, please do not delay. See "Steps to Peace with God" at www.BGEA.org. Accept Jesus Christ today and you will see God remake you into a Christian He can work through.
MORE GOOD STUFF EXPOSING BAD STUFF:
You have got to read Ryan Bomberger's New York Time commentary:
You've got to see the undercover work conducted by Live Action Films
-- they show you how the abortion clinics break the law and help the criminals. This is why you need to call your politicians and tell them to STOP giving any of our hard-earned tax dollars to any abortion business: http://liveaction.org/
LISTENING TO WHAT'S GOOD & WHAT'S BAD:
If you don't know the difference between Rap music and Hip Hop, here's an eye-opener: Rap is a style of music (nothing wrong with that), but "Hip Hop" is a LIFESTYLE built on some pretty bad stuff.
December 2010: A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM UGANDA:
Human Rights Day 2010
Speak Up, Stop Discrimination
Dear Friends,
Today, Dec. 10, 2010, is my (Richard Sempala) Birthday even though I do not know when I was born , I was challenged by many children celebrating their Birthdays with their parents and relatives and I felt I need to celebrate my Birthday . when I was 9 years I decided to make 10th December as a day to remember the gift of Life given to me by God through my Mother have never seen in life . I didn’t know UN chose this 10th Dec as a day to Respect Human Rights. Human Rights Day as declared by the United Nations. This year’s theme is "Speak Up, Stop Discrimination." It is a fitting theme for those of us who work tirelessly in the pro-life movement to protect women and their unborn children from the discrimination and violence of abortion.
"There is no greater form of discrimination than to end another human being's life because that human being is unwanted, imperfect or unloved. We must work toward the day when each and every human being is empowered with their full human rights – the paramount of which is life itself.
"The greatest educational system we can build will never teach the unborn child killed by a saline abortion. The greatest roads ever constructed will never be traveled by a disabled person who is denied nutrition and hydration. And the most advanced health care facility will never treat an elderly person abandoned in neglect. Human life itself is the genesis of all rights. It is only with a secured right to life, to be born, from which other rights can flow.
"On this important Human Rights Day of 2010 let us come together as compassionate human beings, understanding of each other’s plight, to protect one another.
"Let us remember and call to mind The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of December 10th, 1948, which states in Article 3, 'Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.'
"Let us also recall from the Declaration of the Rights of the Child (Nov. 20, 1959) that ‘the child, by reason of his physical and mental immaturity, needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth.'"
Please take a step to support our Pro- life Youth Camp starting on 18th December , so far 600 young people have registered to attend . Your Donation of $ 50 will make difference in the lives of young people in Africa .donate through the website www.africalyf.com
God bless you,
